The 2014-15 Federal Budget included deep cuts in funding for health, education and concessions.

These cuts totalled $898 million over four years with cuts to health and education growing to $5.5 billion over ten years.

Research undertaken by the Australian Workplace Innovation and Social Research Centre, in conjunction with the National Centre for Social and Economic Modelling, found that in most cases the impact of the cuts would be felt most profoundly by those on low incomes. See the research by clicking here.

The Federal Budget cuts were made without consultation and are the largest cuts ever made to health, education and concessions in this state.

South Australia cannot make up the difference by itself as these cuts continue to grow year-on-year.

But we are committed to fighting the cuts and are campaigning to have them reversed.

Join the fight now to stop the Federal Government from putting our most vulnerable people at risk.
