Robert Stigwood Fellowship Program

Project Details

The Robert Stigwood Fellowship Program supports the development of artists and music industry entrepreneurs.

Through an annual program, participants will be connected with global industry representatives for professional and artistic development.

These Fellowships are a new Music and Industry Development Initiative by the South Australian Government, delivered through the Music Development Office, which is a collaboration between the Department for Manufacturing, Innovation, Trade, Resources and Energy (DMITRE) and Arts SA.

There are two streams to the Robert Stigwood Fellowship Program:

- Industry Fellows

- Artist Fellows

 

Project Eligibility

Industry Fellows

South Australian based professional music industry entrepreneurs who are working with South Australian artists creating and performing original music of all genres are eligible to apply.

NOTE: Self-managed artists are not eligible to apply to this program.  Artist Fellowships are available for self-managed artists.

Applicants must have a current contract/ agreement in place with at least one South Australian artist.

Artist Fellows

Applications will be considered from professional South Australian musicians/artists that are composing and performing their own music.

Applicants must have:

- a current, commercially available recording
- touring experience in the Australian market.
