Dedication of the Tennyson Dunes

Unique biodiversity and rarity make the Tennyson Dunes the most ecologically significant dunes on the metropolitan coastline.

This beautiful part of coast is home to coastal reptiles such as the colourful Painted Dragon and Coastal Bearded Dragon.

It was my pleasure to join the Environment Minister Ian Hunter and members of the Tennyson Dunes Group as the 11 hectare site was declared a reserve, providing permanent protection.
