Semaphore Park - Military Road Crossing

With the $1.2 million upgrade of Point Malcolm Reserve well underway many locals have contacted me about the difficulty they experience in safely crossing Military Road to and from the reserve, the Semaphore Surf Life Saving Club and the beach.

The current crossing on Military Road is known as a “seagull crossing” which means people can cross one direction of traffic, stop in the middle and wait for traffic to clear, before crossing to the other side of the road.

As a local resident, I would like to know your opinion on whether the current is sufficient, or should the crossing should be upgraded, and also, where the crossing is best located.

You can complete it online here https://alpsa.azurewebsites.net/semaphorecrossing or I will be posting surveys out to the community.
